Abstract
綜合以上之觀察與試驗，可得如下之結論:
1.白粉蝶在臺北三~四月之環境下飼育，其生活史分別為卵期4-5天，幼蟲期11-13天，蛹期6-7天，成蟲壽命為雌蝶9-11天，雄蝶6-8天。
Some ecological observations and the effects of gamma irradiation on cabbage worm, Pieris rape crucivora Boisduval, have been investigated from 1970 to 1971. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1.In Taipei area, the cabbage worm usually takes about 21-25 days to complete one generation during the period of March to April, the egg stage lasts 4-5 days, larval stage lasts 11-13 days, and pupal stage lasts 6-7 days. The longevity of adult is about 9-11 days for the female and 6-8 days for the male.
