Its economical importance has been demonstrated in many respects. For example, some varieties of citrange obtained from artificial cross-breeding can be used as a good rootstock; some tanger or tangelo can be used as a fresh fruit variety; the Mammoth grapefruit developeed by the Shihlin Horticultural Experiment Station has been considered a good variety for fresh fruit production. |
