茶園間作黃花羽扇豆(魯冰)肥料試驗彙報

Abstract

本省茶葉產量低落，平均單位面積茶菁收量僅及日本之 1/4 弱或印度、錫蘭之 1/3 強，考其原因極可能由于先天之土壤貧瘠與後天性之管理粗放，為謀提高臺茶產量，首須著重改良土性，黃花羽扇豆俗稱魯冰系屬荳科作物，適應于濕潤環境下之酸性土壤，本省北部茶區在冬季期間，因受東北季候風之影響，雨水調順，而中部茶區則屬乾旱季節，因此冬季期間，北部茶園間作綠肥，供作來年春耕之用。 Due to the low fertility of the soils and poor soil management, the average tea yield of this Island still runs between 1, 000-1,200 kg in fresh leaves per hectare. Emphatic attention has been paid to the enrichment of tea soils by cultivation of lupine ( Lupinus Luteus ) which is one of the legumes suitable for interplanting with the tea bushes in the fall and being turned under as greenmnure in the next spring.
