西瓜抗病毒病篩選及育種

Abstract

本計畫旨在探討病毒病在西瓜商業品種上之發病情形，以進行篩選抗病品種(系)，再將抗病性轉移至商業品種中，育成抗病品種來有效防治病毒病，俾增加西瓜產量及品質。83年首先在台灣地區收集57個西瓜商業品種，於幼苗期分別接種CMV、PRV-W、MVbMV及ZYMV等四種病毒，經鑑定以ZYMV、PRVW罹病最嚴重，其次為MVbMV、CMV罹病率較低。 The purposes of the studies were aimed at screening sources of the viruses resistance and transfering the character into watermelons. CMV, ZYMV, PRV-W and MVbMV were four important viruses having observed in the watermelon fields in Taiwan. Fifty-seven cultivars (lines) were collected from local and other parts of the world, and inouculated the mentioned viruses separately.
