Abstract:
10 Combinations resulted from random mating of 11 chinese kale lines were used for the heterosis studies to compare with parents and 4 cultivars as a check. Plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, leaf weight, plant weight and leaf numbers were chosen as parameters to evaluate the heterosis over their mid-parent and /or the best parent.
