Abstract: 
本試驗在本省各地共收集劍葉萵苣、馬齒莧、羅勒、葉用黃麻、黃秋葵、菾菜、昭和草、茴香、紅鳳菜、白鳳菜、山蘇花、藤花、藤三七、青葙、香樁、假人參、過溝菜蕨、豆瓣菜、食茱萸、山芹菜、落葵、白薑花、火焰菜、紫蘇等新興蔬菜共23種98品系,所收集之種原種植於本所種原圃,除少數繁殖留種外,並觀察其園藝特性,於適期採收供營養及毒性成份之需用。
The purposes of these studies are to collect some native and less developed vegetables. The horticultural characters, cultivation methods, nutrition values and the possible used as a commercialized vegetable are also studied. 98 varieties of 23 new vegetable species have been collected and cultivated.
