Potted rice plants at different developmental stage were subjected to artificial rein by spraying water for 8 hours per day at a rate of 100mm/hr. Two cultivars, Tainan 5 (Japonica type) and Taichung Sen 3 (Indica type) were tested in Taichung, Taiwan in 1980. |
