Adult lays eggs on the carambola's new buds, and larvae feed on the young leaves, causing serious adverse effect to leaf development. Adult is about 0.5 cm in length and 1.5 cm when wing spaned. At labora tory condition (30±2℃), a generation was completed in 11 to 17 days. |
