Under the prevailing weather condion of high temperature, long day period and intense sunshine in the southern part of Taiwan, semi-covered treatment seems favorable to growth and can raise yield. 2. Photosynthesis starts with sunrise, stronger the tensity of sunshine, higher the amount of starch production. The photosynthesis reaches its climax at 3 P.M. in the afternoon and steps after sunset. |
