Abstract
果樹屬多年生作物，其害蟲和害蟎種類較多，適宜發展綜合防治之模式，葉蟎原為次要害蟲，由於廣效性及高毒性農藥之使用，已證明對許多葉蟎之天敵造成嚴重傷害。一般多數農藥對葉蟎並無防治效果，葉蟎對期有易產生抗性，因此果樹葉蟎常成爆發性的猖獗為害，故對葉蟎之防治成為農民最困惑的難題。
Three crop situations were selected in which intensive attempts have been made to develop integrated management programs rather than relying primarily on chemical pest suppression. The three crops—pear, citrus and strawberry—are leading examples of concerted research and extension efforts in developing and implementing practical spider mites management programs in Taiwan.
