Abstract
本計畫以更新及充實土壤資料庫，以符合社會大眾對土壤資訊之需求為主要目的。六年間參與計畫單位完成之調查區有七十五個鄉鎮，面積共十九萬餘公頃農田，樣點兩萬八千九百七十三點，分析樣品計有十二萬個樣品，每一樣品形態記錄與分析性質共有五十三項。另完成臺灣地區農田肥力管理及改良資訊系統第一版,並分送各區農業改良場試用修定中。調查資料並用於撰寫鄉鎮農田土壞環境品質及生產力調查報告，內容包括建立鄉鎮土系之生產力等級及土壞改良與管理建議，檢討當地農田土壞品質變化趨勢、地區農田之土地利用及管理策略、農田土壞品質及環境保護機能之評估等。所得資料亦應用於土系均勻度之探討及土壞變異性之研究等。
The major aim of the project is to renew and enrich the soil database for the demands of soil information in the present and future. Our work group has achieved plenty of fine performance during the first six-year period of this project. We have surveyed the farmlands of 75 townships which area are more than 190,000 hectares, and collected 28,973 pits' samples. The laboratory have analyzed 120,000 soil samples, each sample includes 53 items of soil morphological description and properties.
