Abstract
「國家作物種原庫」自1993年成立，經過三十餘年耕耘，現已保存超過十萬份珍貴種原，包括糧食、蔬菜、雜糧等，堪稱「臺灣作物的諾亞方舟」，是面對氣候變遷與維護糧食安全的重要基石。為確保這些珍貴遺傳資源能永續應用於育種創新與產業研發，農業部於2023年啟動「次世代農林種原方舟」計畫，期使種原以最具活力的狀態傳遞給下一個世代。本書旨在系統化整理及傳承作物種原繁殖的專業知識與寶貴經驗，第一冊涵蓋國家作物種原庫簡介、種子發芽率與含水率檢測，並針對重要蔬菜作物：油菜、甘藍、花椰菜、蘿蔔、菜豆、胡瓜、絲瓜、西瓜、茄子、番椒、落葵、黃秋葵、紫蘇，詳述其栽培及繁殖技術，是從事作物種原繁殖的實務指南。
The National Crop Germplasm Center, established in 1993, has been in operation for over three decades and now safeguards more than 100,000 valuable germplasm accessions, including food crops and vegetables. It is known as the "Noah's Ark of Taiwanese crops" and plays a key role in responding to climate change and safeguarding food security. To guarantee the sustainable utilization of these precious genetic resources for breeding innovation and industrial research, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the "Next-generation ark of agriculture and forestry germplasm" project in 2023, aiming to transmit germplasm in the most viable state to future generations. This volume seeks to systematically organize and pass on the professional knowledge and valuable experience of crop germplasm propagation. The first volume covers an introduction to the National Crop Germplasm Center, methods for assessing seed germination and moisture content, and detailed propagation techniques for key vegetable crops, including rapeseed, cabbage, cauliflower, radish, common bean, cucumber, loofah, watermelon, eggplant, chili pepper, Malabar spinach, okra, and Perilla, serving as a practical guide for crop germplasm cultivation and propagation.
