本專刊彙整農業試驗所嘉義農業試驗分所於民國115年（2026 年）所舉辦之「未來生產力：荔枝及龍眼科研技術精進與產業實務研討會」重要研究成果。內容聚焦於臺灣荔枝及龍眼產業面對氣候變遷與未來生產力挑戰之關鍵應對策略。全刊範疇含括四大核心技術領域：首先為「產業現況與趨勢分析」，勾勒荔枝及龍眼之產業佈局；其次為「生理研究」，深入探討作物物候與開花生理機制；再者為「栽培研究」，提煉前瞻之田間技術與實務；最後則為「採後處理與加工技術」，展現延伸冷鏈保鮮與多元化加工之科研進展。本專刊旨在透過前沿科學研究與產業實務之結合，提供產官學界落實關鍵技術與永續發展之重要參考依據。
This special issue compiles the key research findings from the symposia "Future Productivity: Proceedings of the Symposium on Technical Advancements and Industry Practices in Litchi and Longan Production," organized by the Chiayi Agricultural Experiment Branch of the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) in 2026. The content focuses on pivotal response strategies for Taiwan's litchi and longan industries in facing the challenges of climate change and future productivity. The publication encompasses four core technical areas: first, "Industrial Status and Trend Analysis," outlining the strategic layout of the litchi and longan industries; second, "Physiological Research," offering an in-depth exploration of crop phenology and flowering physiology; third, "Cultivation Research," extracting forward-looking field techniques and practical applications; and finally, "Postharvest Handling and Processing Technology," demonstrating scientific advancements in extending cold chain preservation and diversifying processing methods.
