建立更健康的台農71號（益全香米）生產管理流程是本試驗之目的。以台農71 號為試驗材料，以健康管理的理念為基礎，應用適當的農業自然資材進行管理，結果顯示健康管理區的收穫期提早10天，坪割稻穀產量、一穗粒數、稔實率、米粒透明度、稻穀容積重及第三節稻稈的直徑差異不顯著，而千粒重及穗數在健康管理區於未施穗肥的條件下明顯低於慣行區；但健康管理區之植株高度明顯較矮，地上部稻稈重量明顯較重。以味度計 PS500（靜岡製）進行糙米與白米之成分分析，發現慣行區生產的糙米與白米之蛋白質含量、直鏈性澱粉含量及脂肪酸含量明顯高於健康管理區，健康管理區之食味參數Q值明顯高於貫行區。健康管理區的稻穀產量略低於慣行區，但統計上差異不顯著，然而稻米品質的整體表現明顯提高。由試驗結果已經初步建立台農71號在第一期作可行的健康管理標準作業流程（SOP），此系統可以因導入新技術與適宜的資材而再精進。
The objective of this study was to elucidate the grain yield and quality improvement under plant health management. A aromatic rice cultivar, Tainung 71, belonging to japonica type was used in the study. The characters of grain yield and quality were measured at harvest day. The heading days of health management is 10 days earlier than normal management. The grain yield, spikelet numbers per panicle, seed set, grain translucency, test weight and culms diameter were not different significantly. On the contrary, 1000-grain weight and panicle number of health management were low, while the plant height decreased and culm weight was heavy. We had syntheses of brown rice and milled rice analyzed by taste meter (PS500). The protein content, amylose content and free fatty acid of heath management were lower than normal management. The eating quality characters of health management were better than normal management. It appeared that the grain yield of health management was low, hut it was not statistically significant at 0.5%, while the grain quality characters were much better than normal management. Therefore it is suggested that the standard operation process (SOP) of Tainung 71 had established for the 1st crop season. But the SOP could be adapted to diverse agricultural material.
