In addition to the measurements of rainfall and surface runoff, one set of 6m tall observation pole was installed for this study. The global solar radiation, net radiation, vertical profiles of wind speed, air temperature, ground temperature and humidity, and soil heat flux were used.to determine the microclimatic characteristics and surface runoff of betel-nut orchard. The collected meteorological data were used to predict the evopotranspiration of betel-nut orchard. These information offer a better understanding of the hydrologic characteristics of this area. |
