五葉參自民國83年9月至84年8月止,每個月插植一次,全年計十二次插植期,經試驗結果,插植期各收穫三次並調查生育性狀及產量,得知平均生育日數以9月之131天為最短,爾後按月增加至n月188天為高,再由12月按月遞增至4月之142天為較短,然後由5月按月遞增至8月173天“平均主蔓長度以9月275公分為最高。公頃平均葉部及莖葉總產量乾品以7月分別為1,889公斤及3,072公斤為最高,惟其生育日數172天較長。平均乾物率,葉部以10月及5月均為15.1%較高,莖部以3、4月分別為19.1%及19.6%較高。各插植期之乾物率以莖部較葉部為高,而皂甘含量以葉部較莖部為高。
The cutting of Gynostemma pcntaphy]lum once a month had 12 times from 1994 September to 1995 August. The result showed that the average growth days during the cutting on September needed 131 days. And it increased growth days from September to November, it needed 188 days during the cutting on November. Then it decreased growth days from December to April, and it needed 142 days during the cutting on April. And it increased growth days from May to August, it needed 173 days during the cutting on August. The average major vine had 275cm during the cutting on September. The leaf and total dry weight were 1889kg and 3072kg during the cutting on July, but its’ growth days 172 days was more long. The leaf average dry rate on October and May was 15.1%, and the vine average dry rates on March and Apuil were l9.l% and 19.6% respectively. The vineaverage dry rate was higher than leaf, but total leaf saponin rate was higher than vine.
