Abstract
就己徵集之品種與變種加以篩選比較，以利選出果大、產量及黃色素含量均高之品種（系），供進一步研究。由品種（系）觀察10品種（系）中選出G-77-4、G-77-6、G-77-9及G-77-10四品系進入產量比較試驗，以6年生植株為材料。田間按RCBD設計，四重複，行株距2.5×2公尺。本年著重在產量調查，單株產量以G-77-6，之6.339,（合2,660kg/ha）最高，次為G-77-4之5.26kg（合105,520kg/ha),G-77-10之5.11kg（合10,220kg/ha)，而以G-77-9之4.84kg（合9,680kg/ha）較低。上述四品系產量均在標準以上，但以G-77-6品系產量較高也較穩定。黃色素含量以G-77-6品系含量最高，達30.14kg，依次為G-77-9之29.56%,G-77-10之28.93%，而以G-77-4之28.56％較低，處理間差異不明顯。
The object of this program in 1997 was to compare the yield and the content
of yellow pigment among lines of Gardenia jasminoides L. Four lines, i.e., G-77-4, G-77-6, G-77-9, and G-77-10, selected from many lines of Gardenia jasminoides L. were used as materials. The experimental data showed that the performance of G-77-6 was superior to other lines of Gardenia jasminoides L., having a yield of 12,600kg/ha and a pigment content of 30.14%.
