Effect of Rice Field Ecology on the Environmental Preservation

現代農民靠昂貴的無機化學肥料及化學農藥生產水稻，結果造成了土壤及水之污染，並影響自然生態環境。本文針對下述問題加以探討：( 1 )農工生產活動所造成的地球環境生態之變化；( 2 )在亞熱帶地區增加稻米所面臨的問題；( 3 )水稻生態之特性及其功能；(4)稻田用水之管理對環境之影響；( 5 )氣象對稻田用水之影響；( 6 )稻田灌排水對稻田生育、產量及稻米品質之影響；( 5 )氣象對稻田用水之影響：( 6 )稻田灌排水對稻田生育、產量及稻米品質之影響；( 7 )稻田灌溉方法對水資源之影響；及(8 ) 稻田輪作對自然生態系之影響。在本文中強調以推行不同化學肥料及化學農藥為主之稻有機栽培及實施綜合性病蟲害防治(I PM )來維護稻田之生態環境。
Modern farmers depend on expensive chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides to grow rice which resulted in soil and water polutions. The ways of coping with this problem was discussed with regards to te following respects(1)Global environmental and ecological changes caused by agricultural and industrial activities; (2) The problems encounterd in the course of rice production insubtropics; (3)The ecology of rice and its function; (4) Effects of water management on the ecology of rice field; (5) The meteorological effects on irrigation water in the rice field; (6) Effects of irrigation and drainage on the growth of rice plant and yield and also rice grain quality (7) Effects of irrigation methods on water resource preservation; and (8) Effects of crop rotation on the ecological system. In order to reduce the environmental impact due to the conventional farming practice, organic culture of rice by using organic manure and integrated pest management (1PM) was stressed.
