自2005年起,陸續在台灣和金門地區首次新記錄6群的Scutellonema brachyurum (Steiner, 1938) Andrassy, 1958、3群的S. truncatum Sher, 1963,以及7群的Hoplolaimus columbus Sher, 1963。各群線蟲鑑定的依據為外觀形態、形態測量值(morphometrics)及核糖體DNA (ribosomal DNA, rDNA)片段之5.85基因和非轉錄區間序列(Internal transcribed spacer, ITS)的相似度分析比對。本研究除提供更多完整的形態測量值和SEM外觀形態方面資料,更首次在GenBank基因庫中登錄這三種線蟲rDNA片段上5.8S基因和ITS之代表性序列,提供世界各地研究者鑑定時一項重要輔助資料。
Six populations of Scutellonema brachyurum (Steiner, 1938) Andrassy, 1958, three populations of S. truncatum Sher, 1963 and seven populations of Hoplolaimus columbus Sher, 1963 were collected and identified for the first time in Taiwan and Kinmen. Based on the external morphology, morphometrics and the sequence of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and 5.8S unit of the ribosomal DNA, the species taxon for each nematode population was confirmed. In this study, additional morphometric data and SEM figures for these three species were also provided. The sequence of representative rDNA fragment of each species was deposited in GenBank for the benefits of worldwide researchers.
