Abstract:
The comparison of three nematode-extraction methods (modified Baermann funnel method, centrifugal-flotation method, and flotation-sieving technique) on four selected nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita, Pralylenchus coffeae, Aphelenchoides besseyi, and free-living nematode) has been conducted. The results showed that the recovery rates and required time in nematode extraction of centrifugal-flotation method and flotation-sieving technique are greater than of modified Baermann funnel method.
