Observations on female internal reproductive organs, oosorption and oviposition-regulating capability of T. radia ta by vivisection and deprivation host in the laboratory were conducted to study its adaptation ability when suitable instar hosts were scarce under unstable habitats. The results showed that at 25℃, with honey as food and deprived host (Diaphorina citri Kuwayama), T. radiata could synchronize with its host by oosorption for 10 20 days without or with little effect on its reproduction. At 15℃, with honey as food and deprived host, the wasps extended oviposition-regulating period to 30~40 days, but decreased reproduction sharply. |
