本研究以蠶絲織物防皺性改善為中心，進行傳統式蠶絲織物樹脂加工研究，研究包含下列三項：( l )二經甲基二經基乙烯尿素(D MDHEU )樹脂處理。(2 ) DMDHEU 樹脂併用各種柔軟劑處理。(3 )反應型矽酮樹脂及混用DMDHEU樹脂處理。
經研究結果得知：DMDHEU 樹脂加工蠶絲織物之乾濕皺紋回復角，在樹脂附加量4 ％時有快速增加現象，且織物強力在加工後亦較原織物有增加的現象；矽酮樹脂處理可以改善蠶絲加工織物柔軟度，並大幅提高蠶絲織物之濕皺紋回復角；DMDHEU樹脂與矽酮樹脂併用，可以同時提高蠶絲織物之乾濕皺紋回復角達可水洗蠶絲要求；此外，織物含水率研究顯示蠶絲織物含水率為影響織物皺紋回復性之最主要因素，但樹脂加工蠶絲織物之樹脂附加量提高，可以有效提高織物之皺紋回復性。
Traditional anti-crease treatments were employed in this present study for enhancing the wrinkle recovery property of silk fabric and primary focuses of this present research effort in (1) treatment of this silk fabric with dimethylol dihydroxyl ethylene urea (DMDHEU) resin;(2)treatment with the the mixture of DMDHEU resin and several softeners; (3) treatment with silicone resin and its DMDHEU mixture for the silk fabrics.
The following conclusion could be made on the basis of observed experimental results. Wrinkle recovery property rapidly increased as the resin added-on of DMDHEU resin treated fabric was over 4% ;In addition to the tensile strength of the treated fabric was found to be slightly enhanced. The softness and wet wrinkle recovery angle of the treated fabric were indicated to be markedly improved from silicone resin treatment. Employing the blend of DMDHEU and silicone resin confirmed the capability of enhancing both the dry and the wet wrinkle recovery properties. Thus, the behaivors of wrinkle formation and recovery of silk fabric were considered to be quite complicated. However, resin add-on and water content were apparently the two primary factors which would account for this phenomenen.
