In order to decrease the infection of melanose of wentan pomelo, summer pruning was tested in this study. The 2 year’s results showed that the influence of summer pruning on the yield and sun scald fruit’s number was not significantly, but that could significant decrease the degree of melanose infection from 2.5 and 1.5 to 1.7 and 0.8. Summer pruning decreased the acidity of fruit from 0.54% to 0.49% in 2013, but the influence of summer pruning on fruit color was not significantly, and neither was fruit quality which includes fruit weight, total soluble solids, and percentage of juice. |
