It should cause a big problem of environmental pollution, if they are not well treated. In order to protect ecosystem balance and maintain good quality of environment, reusing agricultural organic wastes should be encouraged and taken action. Using agricultural organic wastes to produce organic fertilizers apply to field as providing nutrients for the crops is a proper way. Beneficial microorganisms can dissolve insolble phosphate compounds of soil, fix nitrogen to biomass from air, mineralize organic compounds to release nutrients, and secrete promoting plant growth substances. General speaking, composts have fewer beneficial microorganism populations and slower nutrient releasing rates than those of chemical fertilizers. The objectives of the study were to use beneficial microorganisms, such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria and phosphate-solbilizing bacteria, to promote the quality of wasted winter mushroom sawdust compost. Investigating its effect on the growth of kale, cabbage, and corn. The results showed that the compost applied to soil at a rate of 1:200, the effect of the compost on the fresh weight of kale was significant, but not for that of cabbage or corn crop. As the application rate rose up to 1:40, the effect of the compost on the fresh weights of cabbage and corn crop increased significantly. |
