Abstract
楊桃果實蛀蟲為目前楊桃最重要之害蟲，整年在全省楊桃栽培區普偏發生。其中為害最烈老為粗腳姬捲葉蛾(Cryptophlebia ombrodelta)及Eucoenogenes sp. 兩種，其成蟲展翅各約為20及15公厘。兩者之生活史為卵期3~4天，幼蟲期13~26天，蛹期4~10天，成蟲壽命約2~19天。初步藥劑篩選結果，以40.8％陶斯松乳劑2,000倍，50％芬殺松乳劑1,000倍，85男加保利可濕性粉劑850倍等之防治效果為佳。
Currently, the carambola fruit borers are the most important insect pests of carambola. These borers may attack the young arid mature carambola fruits caussing severe fruit dropping. So far, two major Species, Cryptophiebia ombrodelta and Eucoeno genes sp. have been identified. The wing spans of adults of these two species were ca. 20 and 15 mm, respectively. Durations of the egg, larval, pupal and adult stages for both species were Ca. 3-4, 13-26, 4-10 and 2-19 days, respectively. Preliminary field trials showed that 40.8% Dursban E.C. (2,000-fold dilution), 50% Fenthion E.C. (1,000-fold), and 85% Carbaryl W.P. (850-fold) provided satisfactory control of these fruit borers.
