本文報導常用於防治稻蟲如螟蟲、飛蝨及葉蟬等領害蟲之農藥，對於稻飛蝨、葉蟬類之捕食性天敵，蜘蛛與盲蝽之毒性測定。所謂捕食性天敵包括兩種蜘蛛，即六點狼蛛（狼蛛 Lycosa pseudoannulata）與裂頭小盤蛛（盤蛛Oedothorax inecticeps）及一種綠盲蝽（Cyrtorhinus lividipennis）。供試藥劑共28種，其中11種為可濕性粉劑，6種為乳液劑，2種溶劑及9種粒劑。各型態之嘖佈劑係測定其對於捕食性天敵之接觸毒性，而粒劑則測定其經由食物鏈鎖對於捕食稻蟲天敵之毒性。
供試藥劑之濃度均依照經濟部審定之植物保護推廣方法手冊所推薦用於防治水稻害蟲者為準。初步試驗結果顯示對於兩種捕食性蜘蛛接觸毒件較小之藥劑有75% Orthene S. P., 60% Azodrin S., 30% MTMC E. C., 85% Sevin W. P.及5% Disyston等。經由食物鏈鎖而毒害天敵之粒劑，其毒性較輕者有3% 0rthene G., 5% Disyston G.及5% Lebaycid G等。其餘藥劑則對一種或兩種蜘蛛均貝較高之毒殺沒作用。
Two predaciou s spiders, Lycosa pseudoamwlata (Lycosidae), Oedothorax insectices (Micryphantidae) and the mind bug, Gyrtarhimts 1ividiennis (Miridae) have long been recognized as important natural enemies of rice hoppers. The present study was conducted to assess the differential toxicity of 28 insecticides commonly used for rice insects control to these predators under laboratory conditions in Chiayi.
Experimental results showed that L. Pseudoannutata was generally more susceptible to the contact toxicity of these insecticides than 0. insecticeps. To both spklers, the carbamate insecticides tested proved to be fully as toxic as, or even more toxic than the organophosphates. The mortality rate of Lycosa spiders was higher than 80% 72 hours after treatment with Ilokbal or Ortho-Bux 2. and also exceeded 30% when treated with BPMC, MPMC, MIPC or Carbarnult. Granular insecticides were often thought to be comparatively harmless to the free living natural enemies.
However, some granular insecticides such as Furadan G and Terracur-p G, either by contact or through food chain, actually showed higher toxicity than that of ϒ-BFIC to the predacious spiders. With the exception of MIMC, Sevin, Orthene, Azodrin and Disyston, which seemed to be comparatively safe to the two spiders, all other insec ticides tested were highly toxic to one or both of the two spider species.
All insectcides tested showed higher toxicity to the mind hugs than to the two spiders. The mortality rate of the mind bugs was 100 per cent 24 hours after treatment with any of the granular insecticides tested, and was never lower than 80% when treated with the organophosphates and carbatnate insecticides.
