Biotechnology develops rapidly that promotes genetically modified crops (GMCs) to commercialize in this decade. However, bio-safety is globally an important issue, most of countries had established the evaluation and management system of GMCs. PCR analysis is the most common technique in GMCs detection. However, the conventional protocols spent lots of time and expense, especially in DNA extraction steps. In this study, used modified DNA extraction solution and PCR reaction buffer to reduce DNA extraction time into 5-10 minutes. The methodology will successfully overcome time- consuming compares with the conventional method which will spend 4-8 hrs. This method could be widely used in different fruit trees and vegetable crops. It saved experimental steps and labor cost to increased DNA extraction efficiency.
